On 4 November 2019, Facebook unveiled a new logo featuring the major Apps under its name. Without doubt, this is a strategic move by the social media giant to re-engineer its fortunes and future. It will be recalled that Facebook began with a single App - the Facebook App, some 15 years ago. Today, Facebook boasts of not less than 5 heavyweight Apps under its belt, namely: Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, Portal and Calibra. The rebranding of the Facebook logo is therefore a formal acknowledgement of the Company's status as a global conglomerate.
